Go Back EURYDICE by Sarah Ruhl (ages 13 and up recommended)

In the tragedy of Eurydice, Orpheus just needs to remember, don’t look back. Lost in the underworld, Eurydice, Orpheus’ wife, has difficulty remembering who she was - her memories are washed away. Orpheus sends her letters, searches for her, and finds her their musical connection. He can rescue her. If only his deal with the Lord of the Underworld can be kept. He must not look back at Eurydice - sent behind him as he exits the underworld. Eurydice - a modern retelling of the Orpheus myth set with poetic beauty from the modern master playwright, Sarah Ruhl and directed by David Orace Kelly, Eurydice features performances from Ally Hamilton (‘25)  as Eurydice, Alex Fuentes (‘27) as Orpheus, Ella Kate Portera (‘27) as Mother, and Johnny Han (‘27) as Lord of the Underworld. This show is recommended for older students and adults (PG-13). Three performances only: Nov. 2, at 2pm and 7pm and Nov 3 at 2pm.
